Integrated Behavioral Therapy

Unleash Your Child’s Potential

Works of Wonder Therapy is proud to be an integrative behavioral health clinic. Our innovative process gives families insight that will help them fully understand the strengths and weaknesses of their child while providing immediate knowledge of techniques to deal with difficult situations. Dr. Long believes that most problem behaviors are caused by a “skill deficit”. The team at Works of Wonder will use different tests and tools available in-house to determine the exact skill deficit(s) causing your family to struggle.

Without intense testing, it is difficult to determine how the skill deficit and the problem behavior are related.  For example, we have observed children display tantrums while doing homework.  Our testing revealed that their frustration was caused by their inability to hold a pencil without pain rather than an attention problem or a learning disability.  From evidence-based testing to biological scanning to face-to-face interaction, to assess the family dynamic, to one-on-one personalized help, Works of Wonder’s primary goal is to empower and equip parents with the skills they need to help every child reach their God-given potential.
